Sport and Humanity: Mozzart Foundation and Students Unite for a Noble Cause

The annual 'Days of Sport' event raises funds for charitable initiatives through competitive sports.
On the weekend of May 25-26, 2024, students from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences participated in the 'Days of Sport' event, organized by ESTIEM (European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management).

The event featured a variety of sports, including tennis, football, volleyball, basketball, and chess, showcasing the competitive spirit of the students while promoting the principles of camaraderie and teamwork.

Throughout the event, the Mozzart Foundation incentivized the participants by rewarding points scored with funds aimed at charitable endeavors.

The collective efforts resulted in significant donations directed to the Foundation 'Angelina' and 'Budi Human', emphasizing the importance of social responsibility alongside athletic achievement.

The funds raised by the Foundation 'Angelina' will be allocated for purchasing shoes for high school graduates, while the contributions from 'Budi Human' will be used to support medical treatment for children in need.

Over the course of the two-day event at the Ada Ciganlija sports complex, participants engaged in both individual and team sports and received enthusiastic support from spectators in attendance.

Jelena Zrnzević, representing the Mozzart Foundation, stated, "When it comes to supporting sports, recreation, a healthy lifestyle, and true values, the Mozzart Foundation is always at the forefront.

We are pleased to back this event, which provides young people with the opportunity to engage socially through sports.

The Mozzart Foundation promotes sporting activities through various initiatives, including our recent campaign 'Football is More than a Game,' aimed at constructing small football fields."

ESTIEM is a local group associated with the European Students of Industrial Engineering and Management organization, based at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences at the University of Belgrade.

Established in 2005, ESTIEM attained full membership status six months later at an assembly in Bremen, Germany.

Over its 18 years of operation, ESTIEM has continually focused on enhancing activities and projects, providing members with opportunities to apply their theoretical knowledge in practical settings through numerous initiatives such as the Case Study Show, Be X for X Days, Days of Sport, Budi Coolturan, and Europe3D.
