DTV Zlatiborčići, the first children's television station in the region, is initiated with the support of Čajetina municipality.
A new initiative has emerged in southwestern Serbia with the launch of DTV Zlatiborčići, marking the first children's television station in the area.
The project is supported by the local municipality of Čajetina and several institutions within the region.
The station is the brainchild of a team of twelve young journalists, comprising local schoolchildren: Kalina Nedović, Lenka Bojović, Iva Marinković, Jovana Slović, Jovan Pavlović, Lazar Stamatović, Uroš Vladisavljević, Kristina Ćitić, Ognjen Pejić, Aleksandra Mirčić, Tara Novaković, and Luka Pejić.
The editorial team is led by Slavica Marić, who described the television station as a culmination of years of dedicated work aimed at empowering young journalists to become active creators of media content.
The station's first broadcasts will feature programs such as 'Sveznalica i Pitaliсa' (The Know-It-All and Questioner), 'Kulturica' (Little Culture), 'Moderna Moda' (Modern Fashion), and 'Dečačke Avanture' (Boys' Adventures).
These shows will cover a variety of topics including education, culture, fashion, modern technology, and the preservation of traditional customs and practices.
DTV Zlatiborčići will primarily distribute content through its YouTube channel, and it will also maintain a presence on both Instagram and
Facebook.
Representatives from the Čajetina municipality have expressed their commitment to continuing support for projects that contribute to the cultural and media development of youth in the region.
