Stephen Curry's Stellar Performance Leads Warriors Past Grizzlies

Curry scores 52 points, hitting 12 three-pointers, in a decisive win for the Golden State Warriors over the Memphis Grizzlies.
Stephen Curry delivered an outstanding performance in Memphis, scoring 52 points and successfully making 12 three-pointers out of 20 attempts during the Golden State Warriors' recent matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Curry's shooting accuracy extended to 16 out of 31 from the field and he converted all 8 of his free-throw attempts, along with contributing 10 rebounds, 8 assists, and 5 steals.

This marks Curry's second-highest scoring game of the season, following a 56-point outing against Orlando in late February.

He opened the game strongly, hitting his first five shots, including four three-pointers, and reached 32 points by halftime with an impressive shooting line of 11 for 16 from the field and 8 for 10 from beyond the arc.

Curry's performance left Warriors head coach Steve Kerr in awe, recalling similar remarkable displays, including those seen during the Olympics in Paris.

The Warriors' offensive efforts were further bolstered by Jimmy Butler, who contributed 27 points with 7 of 11 shooting from the field and was 12 for 12 on free throws.

Draymond Green added 13 points but struggled with his three-point shooting, finishing 1 of 7 from that range.

Notably, Golden State managed to make all 28 of their free throw attempts.

On the Grizzlies' side, Ja Morant scored 36 points, marking his second-best performance of the season.

Jaren Jackson Jr. supported with 22 points.

The Grizzlies traded blows early in the game, trailing the Warriors who reached a maximum lead of 17 points in the first quarter before Memphis managed to consolidate and reduce the gap.

Despite their efforts, the Warriors solidified their position late in the game with an important 8-0 run that pushed the score to 130-122, contributing to a final score of 134-125 in favor of Golden State.

The victory grants the Warriors a one-game lead over Memphis as the season approaches its conclusion.

In other NBA results, Atlanta defeated Portland 127-113, Milwaukee topped Phoenix 133-123, New York beat Philadelphia 105-91, Chicago overcame Toronto 137-118, and San Antonio lost to Orlando 116-105.
